Morocco desert tour Fes to Marrakech 3 days itinerary
Day 1: Fes – Ifran – Azrou – Ceder Forest – Midelt – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga
Pick up from your hotel in Fes at 8 am. Then our destination is the Merzouga desert. We will pass through Imouzzer-Kandar and then to Ifrane and Azrou where you can see the monkeys in the wild. from there, we continue towards Zaida and Midelt where we will have our lunch. Then we will follow the Ziz Valley. We then arrive in Errachidia next to Erfoud where we will have a coffee break. Afterward, we will pass through a tray of black rock to arrive at Merzouga. You ride the camels for a walk in the dunes of Erg Chebbi. You admire the sunset and drive through a camp at night.
Day 2: Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Rose City – Sakoura – Ouarzazate
After the magical sunrise on the dunes, we will have a camel ride to reach our hotel in the Merzouga village. we will leave for the Rissani town known for its large market of Tafilalt. Then we will travel through the oases of Jorf and the Berber village of Tinjdad to reach the palm grove of Todra and the gorges. After lunch, we continued to the Tinghir town to visit its ancient village. We then drive to Boumalne across the road between the Great and anti Atlas. You will have a stop to take panoramic photos of the Dades Valley. Then we follow the Dades Valley to the Roses City, we stop there to discover the roses water and these cosmetics products produced locally. After that, we follow the road of a thousand kasbahs, and we will pass by the Skoura palm grove and the solar energy station of Ouarzazate. We arrive at the end of the day at your typical Berber hotel in Ouarzazate.
Day 3: Ouarzazate – Ait Benhadou – Tizint Tishka – Marrakech
In the morning you will visit the Taourirt kasbah, then we continue to the studio’s movies, from there we drive to the village of Ait Benhaddou for a guided tour of its historic kasbah. Then we continue through the road that leads to the Telouet village. We will see another historical kasbah, and from here we climb the High Atlas mountains to the summit of Tizi n Tichka, We stop to take beautiful photos. Then we will pass through beautiful Berber villages such as Tazlida and Zarkten. We then stopped in the Toufliht reserve and the village of Ait Berka. Then we continue to Marrakech. Drop off at your hotel at the end of the day.
