5 Days Fes Marrakech desert safari tour itinerary
Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Ceder Forest – Midelt – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga
Start from Fes to Merzouga via Ifrane and Azrou the Berber villages in the middle Atlas mountains. Crossing the Ziz valley and Errachidia towards Erfoud town. After a coffee break, we continue to Merzouga Sahara. You enjoy a camel ride and night under the stars in the camp. Merzouga is a Berber village inhabited by Berber nomads. Their activity is the breeding of goats and camels. However, the drought damaged the region’s pastures as well as the phenomenon of desertification. Now the nomads work with the visitors and offer camel rides. We can say solidarity travel!
Day 2: Erg Chebbi desert tour in 4 × 4 – Merzouga
After breakfast, you will enjoy an excursion around the Erg Chebbi, visiting the deserted mines and the Berber nomads who still live in the desert with their herds of goats and camels. Around noon, we will have lunch in the desert or at a local restaurant in Merzouga. We will then have to ride a camel to reach our Sahara camp. you will admire the sunset,

Day 3: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorge
Leaving Merzouga to follow another path that leads to the gorges through the oases and palm groves. Then we will pass by oases of Jorf and that of Todra. We stop at Todra Gorges for lunch. Then the path to Dedas amazes you with these magnificent landscapes. Photos stop in Boumalne then we will join our accommodation in the heart of the Dades gorges. Dades Oases is one of the most beautiful oases in Morocco. The inhabitants live and cultivate many types of plants and fruits. Among the most common types of har trees found in the Dades oases are fig trees, almond trees, and apricot trees, in addition to roses unique to Morocco.
Day 4: Dades Gorges – Skoura – Ait ben haddou
We will leave Dades Gorges to follow another path that leads to Ouarzazate through oases and palm groves. Stop in the city of roses and discover distilled rose water. Continuation to the Skoura palm grove and visit the Amredile kasbah, we pass through the Ouarzazate solar energy station and stop to see the Taourirt kasbah. Then continue to the village of Ait ben Haddou. Dinner and overnight in a local hotel.
Day 5: Ait Ben haddou – Telouat – Marrakech
In the morning after breakfast, you enjoy a guided tour of the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah. Discover Berber architecture and the history of this cultural site, where several international films are shot. Then we will follow the path to the High Atlas Mountains passing by the historical village of Telouat. Visit of the kasbah glaoui. We climb towards the summit of Tizi n Tichka. We stop to enjoy the panoramic views. Then we will travel through the Berber villages of Tadart and Tazlida. We stop in the reserve of Toufliht and the village of Ait Berka. From there we descend to Marrakech. We will drop you off at your hotel.
